How to remember the 75 times table
- Split 75 into 70 and 5: 75 × 9 = 70 × 9 + 5 × 9 = 630 + 45 = 675.
- 75 is 100 − 25, so take a quarter away from 100 times: 75 × 8 = 800 − 200 = 600.
- 75 is 3 × 25, so multiply by 25 first, then by 3: 75 × 4 = 3 × 100 = 300.
- Look out for 75 × 7 = 525: the answer reads the same forwards and backwards.
