How to remember the 84 times table
- Split 84 into 80 and 4: 84 × 6 = 80 × 6 + 4 × 6 = 480 + 24 = 504.
- 84 is double 42, so double the 42 times table: 42 × 12 = 504, and 504 × 2 = 1,008.
- Look out for 84 × 3 = 252: the answer reads the same forwards and backwards.
